Unlimited Oxfordshire and Age UK Oxfordshire have joined together to help make shops and business on Cowley Road more accessible for disabled people. Our Chair Peter says "Some shops and restaurants on Cowley Road are easy to get into, others have steps or doors too narrow but try to accommodate us. We want to make the whole of Cowley Road a place where we can all shop or go to the pub." Next week Unlimited members and Age UK volunteers will be out and about on Cowley Road finding out were it is easy to get into and where a bit of work is needed. We will let you know the results soon, and what we can all do to make a difference.
